Paul Gane

Paul Gane has studied Roman History since his schooldays and is a member of the Society for the Promotion of Roman Studies.

He has travelled extensively across the former territories of the Empire and has a special interest in the Roman Army as an integral and important part of Roman society as a whole both on and behind the frontiers.

Paul's expertise has led to his membership of his historical societies which give him access to rare information on Roman History and the Hellenic period.

He is a frequent visitor to Rome, a City of which he never tires.
