People mistakenly believe bodyweight exercises are only good for beginners and that resistance machines and weights are far more advanced.  The truth is bodyweight exercises performed properly are the most important aspect of physical training any trainer or athlete can perform.  They are and always have been the essential conditioning choice of wrestlers, mixed martial arts competitors and all combat sports exponents undoubtedly some of the toughest sports in the world.

Ancient Greek, Indian, Asian and Western Warriors made these exercises their conditioning foundation as have most modern military personnel.  This is the training from which all other physical conditioning methods should develop.  For the majority of trainers, they normally need nothing else!  Certainly no need for an expensive gym membership.  All you need is space.
